Upcoming Conference -> A National Symposium
ABIDE has organized a one-day national symposium with a theme: "Paving the Way for Incremental Channeling of Diaspora’s Intellectual and Other resources for National Development and to Increase Ethiopia’s Opportunities for Brain Gain in the New Millennium”.
Date: Thursday, 30 August 2007, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Venue: Addis Ababa Municipality Hall
Participants: An estimated 800 participants from Diaspora, Government, National and International NGOs, Private Sector, Embassies, Regional and International Organizations will be represented.
Key Outcomes:
1) Ethiopian Diaspora Network will be initiated
2) Common understanding on modalities for Diaspora engagement in capacity building for development will be reached.
